The WVU Career Center provides career education and comprehensive resources, programs, and services to students (in person and online), alumni, parents and families, employers, faculty, and staff. We partner with every school and college to equip students to explore their paths, build meaningful connections, and develop the skills needed for career success by:
- Delivering personalized career exploration that enables students to articulate clear, achievable career goals from their first year through graduation.
- Providing dynamic pathways for experiential learning through student employment, internships, alumni engagement, informational interviews, and immersive career programming that build career readiness and professional competencies.
- Cultivating strong employer partnerships that connect students with internships, employment opportunities, and professional networks to support successful transitions into the workforce.
- Collecting and sharing career outcomes data to inform decision-making, demonstrate student success, and strengthen partnerships across the University.
